RPG in a Box!
Hey Everybody,
Welcome to the world of Destined Legends- the Trading Card Game. Some of you may know me from my webcomic Rob the Bot. A few months ago, I placed the webcomic on a hiatus to work on some great projects I lined up for the past few months. One of which was this card game idea I began to develop with my brother Shawn. Now with this announcement, Rob The Bot’s hiatus is now officially permanent, so we can go full steam ahead with this.
Destined Legends is a turn-based Trading Card Game that incorporates all of your favorite RPG elements. Each player controls a party of warriors or “Legends.” You spend the course of the game fighting random creatures, (even bosses,) to gain experience and levels. You can equip your Legends with a slew of weapons and equipment and grow your party stronger and stronger to eventually be able to defeat your opponent’s party. Some other parallels between the video game counter part and the card game include the using of Items, Loot, status effects, and powerful dragons that you can summon.
So thats what we’re up to for the foreseeable future. My name is Ali Showkati, and I’m developing Destined Legends with the brother, Shawn Showkati. The game is currently still in development, but hope to have it in testing by the end of the year. We’ll be constantly updating this Tumblr with updates, artwork, and game mechanics.
